# Unlock (Switch Off Permanent)

**Unlock:** Switch off the permanent lock feature. 

1. **Select your lock:** Choose which veFNX NFT you would like to remove from permanent mode.

2. **Unlock Position:** Initiate and complete the transaction to remove the lock from permanent mode. You veFNX will be locked for 6 months and voting power will being to decay normally.&#x20;
